HOW TO GET PAID FOR YOUR EFFORTS IN REGISTRATION OF PVC WASTE?

Payment - how does it work?

If you are not sure how the payment for your registered waste is organised take a look at our chart below.

As you can see everything starts with the delivery of a collector’s waste (member) to a recycling facility (certified recycler). You can find the complete list of the recyclers certified by Recovinyl at http://uk.recovinyl.com/certified_recyclers.

After delivery the recycler is obliged to register the waste in the system on our website. When entering the data of the freight he indicates the origin of the waste by providing the Reco Id of the member (collector and waste supplier) to our database. This step gives us information about the delivery and allows us, at the end of every quarter, to generate the amount of prepayment due to the related member. Please, always remember to provide a recycler with your company’s Reco Id. You can find it by clicking the COMPANY icon ( ) in your personal home page and then the ‘INFO’ icon () on your side.

Once the quarter is closed the prepayment amount is generated automatically by the system. Prepayment is paid to your bank account usually within one month after closure of the quarter. Minimum prepayment to be paid is an amount of 1000 €. There is no need to issue an invoice for the prepayment amount, as far as it is legally considered to be a subsidy which is paid to your account.

As far as the recycler wants to he can still edit his registered waste data, the system can "lock" the entered information on the 16th of the month following the specific quarter. Money transfers will be executed at the end of that month (e.g. for the 1st quarter: 16th April the data is locked and payment will be realised between 16th April – 16th May).

At the same time an e-mail will be sent to the collector (member), announcing the money transfer and providing a detailed calculation of the prepayment.

The audits are performed by independent organisations. Such a control is required to prove to the stakeholders of the PVC sector and to the outside world that the Recovinyl's concept is a reliable one. Another important purpose of audits is helping to avoid double payments.

During the audit the total tonnage and choice of A and B grade qualification per delivery will be checked. Then the possible differences in volume and/or grade will be recalculated.

All reviewed data stays of course confidential. The only thing Recovinyl needs to check is to know that the registered volume is real and correct. An auditor, after finalising an audit will deliver his report both, to the recycler and to Recovinyl. If there are no doubts regarding the input, the final audit report stating that the entered data is correct will be provided.

Just after the audit, a recycler should issue an invoice covering audit costs (250 €/audit) and his administration fee at the amount of 2 €/ ton registered in our system.

The transferred amount of prepayment will be deducted from the total due amount (balance: total amount - 50%: already paid prepayment). There is no need to issue an invoice. The outstanding amount will be paid within a month to the bank account of the member and/ or recycler

At the time of the money transfer, an e-mail will be sent to all those collectors (members) related to the recyclers" declared waste data entries.
